Huhu.. New experience comes in. Today my group which was assigned under Dr. Ramli was given chance to observe an operation. It was an adenomyosis and bilateral endometriomas case. Tell U, it was a damn great thing after an hour experience of being an idiot in the O&G ward. Walking around, trying to follow the medical team doing the ward round but was treated like an invisible monster instead.. ha.ha.ha. okay! We are needed only when they need a chaperone only. :)
Then, we were saved! Dr. Shah Reza comes in and ask Dr. Ramli to supervise her doctor to be daughter, Shasha ( included us la kan) . huhu. Shes a medical student in Polland and doing attachment also. Barulah terasa kehadiran kami ini disedari. haha :D . By the way, Dr Amir said, Dr Ramli adalah dr paling juruh sekali :p . and it was true though. It was hard to find the juruh2 type in the department as the best mama n papa are in the O&G ward. Best means paling garang and menakutkan. hee~ ampun!
Back to the case!
ADENOMYOSIS AND BILATERAL ENDOMETRIOMAS
The 40 years old lady come with the chief complaint of menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea. I dont know what takes her so long to see the doctor. The tumour was big already. Adenomyosis is characterized by presence of ectopic glandular tissue found in the uterine muscle (myometrium). The most common uterine tumour is uterine fibroid (benign) and it was 1 in the 5 ladies. Adenomyosis (also benign) ni sepupu die je, kata Dr Ramli. haha
Endometriomas is a type of ovarian cyst. It is also called as chocolate cyst or endometrial cyst.
p/s : "They" are so selfish. Living life for the sake of their own happiness. Doesnt know how to tolerate. They are the tumours. :( aku sumpah kau jadi langsir! erk! haha
