Entering my 20th age, the pimples are starting to habituate.
They marked their territories on my face with no sign of leaving. How cruel they are, arent they?
They come and go as they like, leaving bad scars.
Talking about acne vulgaris,
They have something to do with genetic, obesity, and aggravated by stress, facial massage/therapy, smoking, and high glysemic load diet as well as milk product.
Thus friend, avoid saloon facial therapy k... MILK? OMG, me as well just know about it.
And those who believe their acne are due to allergy rhinitis (resdung), throw that believe away.
You treat the allergic rhinitis, it wont solve the acne problem. If it does solve, lucky U. No correlation at all between them both.
Ok, these are the treatment offered.
1. Benzyl Peroxide - It act as antibacterial and reduce comedones by keratolytic action. Applied topically daily. Hmmm, kalau I sebut oxy 10, it will directly come to your mind right? yeah, your oxy 10 is benzyl peroxide.
2.Retinoid acid
3. Antibiotics - ( tetracycline, erythromycin and clindamycin) . This antibiotic course will take U about 6 months with 100 mg daily (1 tablet). Oh, I have once bought the doxycylin from pharmacy but after do some research on the side effect, I prefer not to continue them. But mind U, if U take the antibiotics, U must finish the course as instructed by pharmacologist/ clinician otherwise U might developed resistance. Means that, the next time U take this antibiotics, U wont gain any benefit from them anymore.
4.Cyproterone acetate - Hmm, ever heard about Diane 35? It is a very famous oral contraceptive pills for treating acne purpose. Huhu.. yeah, this cyproterone acetate is an oral contraceptive pills. Thus only female can take this unless U guys want to have feminization? Oh a big NO NO NO..hhahaaha... Its good to be taken if U have irregular menstrual cycle. It treat them both.
5. Isotretinoin - This is the most effective drug, designed to treat the severe acne. By the way, if U go to GPs , I am sure most of them will prescribed U with this Isotretinoin. The dosage is 0.5mg/kg/day up to 6 month. Oh, this drugs sure cost U a lot of money.
Huhu... But of course every drugs have their own side effect. Ask your doctor or U can do your own reading.. Tell U, the cost of treating acne problem in Kuala Lumpur is nearly RM500 monthly and it usually need 6 month. Hmm, treatment with dermatologist in kelantan, Prof Mokhtar is about RM300 monthly but if U are his students (macam saya) , he will cut down the consultation fees make it Rm 190 just for the drugs..hahha.. Tapi I x jumpe pun die... xde duit... sobsobsob... OMG, dermatologist sure gain a lot of money due to this kind of beauty obsession... What a world. Im in it... hahhahaha..
P/s : This acne problem will resolved by their own as U get older. Tap water is the best cleanser. Hahha... My friend bagi tips, honey campur dengan milk powder n buat mask pakai malam b4 tido.. Hmmm, gonna try this.
